Jacor To Buy 2 Stations in Iowa
COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) _ Jacor Communications Inc. is buying radio stations KBUR-AM and KGRS-FM in Burlington, Iowa, from LWM Inc. for $5.7 million.
Jacor signed the purchase agreement Monday, the Covington, Ky.-based company said. The deal is subject to Federal Communications Commission approval.
Including pending deals, Jacor owns, operates or represents 228 radio stations in 64 broadcast markets and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati.
Jacor also provides syndicated radio programming, including talk shows featuring Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Dean Edell, Dr. Laura Schlessinger and Art Bell.
