Beaver Dam Police Beat: Jan. 2-5, 2018

Theft — At 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported his phone was stolen out of a locker room at Beaver Dam High School, 500 Gould St.

Theft — At 10:17 a.m. Friday, a caller reported theft of rings in the 100 block of Fakes Court.

Theft — At 1:30 p.m. Friday, a man reported theft of two dealer plates from Pit Stop Auto Service, 300 N. Center St.

Domestic issue — At 4:41 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a domestic incident between a man and a woman in the 900 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The two were separated for the evening.

Domestic issue — At 1:57 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a domestic incident between a man and a woman in the 700 block of North Center Street. The man was taken to jail for domestic disorderly conduct.

Domestic issue — At 5:25 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a domestic incident between a man and a woman in the 900 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The two were separated for the evening.

Noise complaint — At 5:55 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of loud music in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive, but did not locate anything.

Noise complaint — At 7:08 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of noise in the common stair area of a residence in the 100 block of Eilbes Avenue. The landlord was advised.

Noise complaint — At 11:32 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a child running back and forth in the 200 block of Seippel Boulevard. A woman advised police that the child was running around earlier but then stopped.

Domestic violence — At 12:03 a.m. Sunday, a man reported another man slapped him while in the 100 block of Lakecrest Drive. The suspect was taken to jail for domestic disorderly conduct.

Traffic complaint — At 12:51 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a white Dodge speeding around North Spring Street and Seippel Boulevard and using a bullhorn to try and get people to race. Police made contact with two men. One was told to not use the bullhorn. The other was warned for not having a front plate, a defective front mirror and not having proof of insurance.
