Al.com reports that 40-year-old Eric Morshea Heath Sr. and 31-year-old Cordelia Adair face five counts of chemical endangerment of a child.
Montgomery Police Capt. Regina Duckett said authorities were contacted by the Department of Human Resources on Sept. 6 about possible drug activity at a residence where children lived.
According to arrest affidavits, the children -- ages 4 through 13 -- tested positive for cocaine.
Adair was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Sept. 21. Heath was arrested on Monday. Both were being held Tuesday in the Montgomery County Jail.
