Cool, damp day expected on Monday: Cleveland, Akron weather
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A wet weekend will transition into a wet start for the work week in the Cleveland and Akron areas.
It’s expected to rain through Sunday night and into Sunday morning before possibly tapering off in the afternoon, although rain chances will linger into the night.
Meanwhile it will stay cool. Monday’s highs will remain in the low 70s, and the Akron area might struggle to get out of the 60s. It will stay mostly cloudy and winds will be light.
Highs were in the low 60s on Sunday and Akron received about 1.3 inches of rain. Cleveland had about .65 inch.
Overnight lows on Monday will drop into the mid-50s and chances of rain will be slight. It will remain mostly cloudy on Tuesday and highs will reach the lower 70s.
