CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) _ The Air Force launched a rocket carrying a spy satellite Friday night.

Air Force officials refused to provide any information about the satellite, except to say that it was for the National Reconnaissance Office.

It was the third launch of the upgraded Titan 4B rocket, built by Lockheed Martin Corp. The launch team had to cope with a number of last-minute problems: a stray ship and sailboat, a malfunctioning computer and antenna receiver, and high wind.
