Man, youth shot in Pittsburgh neighborhood; motive not known
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Authorities say a shooting in a Pittsburgh neighborhood has left a man and a juvenile wounded.
But it’s still not known what spurred the shooting.
Authorities say an 18-year-old man was shot around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Elliott neighborhood. The man ran to a nearby business to seek help, but collapsed as he got there.
The man was taken to a hospital where he remained in critical but stable condition on Wednesday. But his name and further details on his injuries were not released.
Police learned of the second victim about two hours later, when the juvenile went to a hospital seeking treatment. Investigators determined the youth was wounded in the same shooting but provided no further details.
