CONCORD, Mass. (AP) — Police in Massachusetts are searching for a man they say broke into another man’s home, held him at knifepoint and forced the victim to drive to Connecticut.

Concord police say 24-year-old Julian Field, of Bedford, is wanted on multiple charges including armed home invasion, kidnapping and armed assault on a person 60 years of age or older.

Authorities received a call from the alleged victim at 3:45 a.m. Monday about the home invasion in Concord on Sunday night.

The victim told police he was forced to drive to New Haven, Connecticut, where the suspect got out of his car. A knife was found in the vehicle.

Police have not provided a motive in the case.

Authorities say Field is believed to be in the New York City area or Connecticut.
