PJs and Other Items Needed

February 3, 2019

LEOMINSTER -- Patrons are encouraged to help the Dr. Martin T. Feldman Children’s Room of Leominster Public Library pass along kindness, compassion and empathy toward others in February.

In conjunction with several programs aimed at promoting kindness that will be held in the Children’s Room, the staff will be collecting new art supplies for the Beacon of Hope and new children’s pajamas for the Boston Bruins’ 12th annual PJ Drive.

Specific requests for the Beacon of Hope are fine-tip markers, felt squares, construction paper, stickers, 8-ounce plastic drinking cups, plastic cutlery, paper napkins, foam bowls and plastic tablecloths. All items must be new and in sealed packaging.

Pajamas for the PJ drive must be new and may be any size, from baby through teens. They will be distributed to families in need throughout Massachusetts by the Department of Children and Families.

Donations can be dropped off in the Children’s Room, 30 West St., during library hours. For more information, call 978-534-7522.
