The Putnam Herald

ELEANOR - Putnam County Schools Title I program will be having its annual Back to School Blast from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at the Putnam County Career and Technical Center in Eleanor.

Community members will be providing information about special programs and services that are available in Putnam County.

Also, Putnam County students who attend will receive free backpacks and school supplies. Backpacks and school supplies are available for all grade levels, pre-K to 12.

Further, if you are a non-profit business and offer FREE services to Putnam County residents, please call 304-586-0500, ext. 1107, if you would like to participate in this event.

Many Putnam County families cannot afford school supplies for their children. Putnam County Schools’ Title I Program is dedicated to helping these families get the supplies they need.

You can help by donating school supplies that will be given away at the B2SB. Donations need to be collected by Monday, Aug. 6.
