Book signing in Florence will benefit local nonprofits

FLORENCE, S.C. – Joy Brown, the author of “Finding Joy, will sign copies of her book from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 20 at First Baptist Church of Florence.

The church is at 300 S. Irby St. in downtown Florence.

Brown is the wife of Wayne Brown, who is serving as the transitional pastor for First Baptist Church.

“Finding Joy” is a collection of insightful and encouraging devotionals with varied topics ranging from faith and hope to taming the tongue and preparing for the coming King.

The book is available for $14. Sales support Diversified Ministries, a mission and evangelism outreach of the Browns.

A percentage of the funds raised will be donated to Florence’s Mercy Medicine Free Clinic and the House of Hope of the Pee Dee.
