Vehicles struck in Huntington shooting

May 19, 2019

HUNTINGTON — Police are responding to the scene of a possible shooting in the area of Guyan Avenue and Division Street in Huntington but do not have a confirmed victim.

According to Huntington Police Chief Hank Dial, two vehicles were struck with gunfire around 8:30 p.m. Saturday and fled the scene. One vehicle has been recovered.

Dial said officers are investigating to determine what happened and if there is a shooting victim.

Dial also said officers responded to another shots-fired call at Marcum Terrace shortly after the Division Street shooting was reported, but that call was bogus.
