NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Amie Smith scored 18 points and reserves Carla Littleton and Angie Jo Ogletree keyed a second-half spurt as No. 12 Texas beat Oklahoma 76-58 Wednesday night.

Littleton and Ogletree each had 14 points and combined for 24 in the second half. Texas (11-3, 5-1 Big 12) also got 11 points each from Edwina Brown and Vanessa Wallace.

Oklahoma (5-11, 1-5) got season-highs of 26 points and nine rebounds from freshman Phylesha Whaley and 17 points from Shonika Breedlove. The Sooners committed 27 turnovers and shot just 37.5 percent from the field.

Texas scored the final six points of the first half to lead 30-24 at halftime. Littleton scored eight points in the first five minutes of the second half and Texas led 52-36.

After Whaley and Breedlove brought Oklahoma back to 58-50, Ogletree scored five straight points to start a 12-0 Texas run.

Texas’ two top scorers, Angela Jackson and Danielle Viglione, were held to two points each.
