LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — The deaths of two men found fatally shot inside a New Jersey shore home earlier this year has been ruled a murder-suicide.

Monmouth County prosecutors say 48-year-old Harold Kelly shot 63-year-old Gerald Scarano in the Long Branch home they shared, then turned the gun on himself. Their bodies were found June 12, when police went to the home to check on the welfare of someone living there.

Both Scarano and Kelly died from single gunshot wounds.

A motive for the shooting has not been disclosed.
