Doug Cheatham Joins Town and Country Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., May 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Town and Country Bank is pleased to announce Doug Cheatham has joined the bank as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Doug is responsible for overseeing the bank’s accounting, finance and credit departments.

Doug comes to Town and Country from Old Second Bancorp located in Aurora, IL where he was EVP and CFO for 18 years. Prior to that, Doug had an 18-year career at Merchants Bancorp, Inc., also in Aurora, where he advanced to EVP and CFO in 1993.

Doug holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, both in finance, from Northern Illinois University. He and his wife, Libby, are the parents of six adult children and reside in Aurora.
