Police find Link’s shooting suspect in Indianapolis

A man for whom Fort Wayne police were looking in connection with a shooting at Link’s Wonderland on Sept. 21 has been arrested in Indianapolis, city police said today.

Gabriel Adam Hicks was identified by Fort Wayne police detectives as the person responsible for the shooting of two men, city police said in a statement.

It said Hicks was found hiding in an Indianapolis hotel and was taken into custody without incident.

Hicks is in the Marion County Jail waiting to be transported back to Fort Wayne for arraignment on two counts of attempted murder, the statement said. It said both shooting victims are still in the hospital.
