Give input on parking, building and safety management in tonight’s city council meeting
NEEDLES — The public can give input on adding an angle parking area on F Street between Broadway and Front Street and establishing a local agency management program for the city’s building and safety division in hearings before the Needles City Council tonight.
The council and Needles Public Utility Authority meet in regular session on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Open session begins at 6 p.m. in chambers at the city-county complex, 1111 Bailey Ave. at J Street.
Other items on the agenda for Feb. 26 include:
• A presentation by Lyn Parker and Marilyn Mathews on a book titled “Our Towns.”
• A teleconference presentation of the audit report ending June 30, 2018, for the NPUA.
• Approving a resolution allowing neighborhood participation in Home Energy Renovation Opportunity financing for reducing energy and water consumption or installation of distributed generation renewable energy sources.
• Discussion of an employee appreciation event.
