Husker men’s basketball routs Southeastern Louisiana

James Palmer, Jr. scored 17 points with four assists and four steals to lead six players in double figures and Nebraska took control with a 22-0 first half run to overwhelm Southeastern Louisiana 87-35 yesterday.

The 2-0 Huskers held Southeastern Louisiana scoreless for 8:41 in the first half run. The Lions missed ten-straight shots and turned the ball over nine times during that stretch. Nebraska led by as many as 53 in the second half. The Huskers forced 25 turnovers, turning them into 33 points.
