Indonesian trade representative in Omaha
NORFOLK - International trade was highlighted at the Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment show Thursday.
Nebraska Department of Agriculture Assistant Director Amelia Breinig said there are plenty of trade opportunities outside of the trade war with China.
For example, Breinig said the trade minister for Indonesia is in Omaha Friday.
“The governor and I will be there to meet him. We’ll have folks from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development there. We’re going to take a couple tours of Omaha Pack. It will be a really nice trip to show them what we’re all about and what we can offer them.”
Breinig said Nebraska farmers need to keep producing high quality products and continue to show folks that the state has things to sell, and that they still want to be selling those products.
