Man gets 12 years, pleaded guilty to gun, drug charges
LACONIA, N.H. (AP) — A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison after pleading guilty in New Hampshire under a plea agreement to gun and drug charges.
Laconia police searched a car and home associated with 33-year-old Roger Perkins in March 2014 and discovered over $1,300 in cash, 63 grams of cocaine, more than 22 grams of crack, psychedelic mushrooms, and small amounts of Molly, or MDMA. They also found 100 razor blades, four firearms and two scales.
Perkins, formerly of Methuen, was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of crack, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
