Pedestrian struck, killed on Alabama roadway
LEEDS, Ala. (AP) — A pedestrian was struck and killed on an Alabama roadway.
Leeds Police Chief Ron Reaves told AL.com that the driver remained on the scene after the Friday morning crash, and is cooperating with authorities.
The St. Clair County Coroner’s Office and Moody police are assisting with the investigation.
The victim’s identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. No other details have been released.
