Dusty Heart returns Saturday to Oak Center

January 31, 2019

OAK CENTER — Dusty Heart, fresh off a concert tour of Europe, is back at the Oak Center General Store for a show at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The duo played in Berlin and Denmark, as well as at the People Festival, a weeklong festival of artists from around the world organized by Justin Vernon and Aaron and Bryce Dessner.

Dusty Heart is made up of Barbara Jean and Molly Dean, two fixtures on the Twin Cities music scene. Harmony vocals, backed by guitar, fiddle and banjo combine for a set of roots, indie, pop and folk music. Dusty Heart released a debut album, “Dusty Heart,” last spring.

Tickets are $15; 507-753-2080 and folkforum@riverland.org.
