The Aiken Standard’s seventh annual Home and Garden Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Gym No. 2 of the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road. Admission is $1, and will benefit the Aiken Habitat for Humanity.

The Fermata Club, 841 Whiskey Road, celebration in honor of its newly repaired and resurfaced courts scheduled for today has been postponed. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29. The Aiken Master Gardeners will hold a lunch box lecture at noon today at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2721 Whiskey Road. Cheryl Trottier will be the guest speaker. Her topic will be Xeriscaping.
