Troopers seek Buick Lacrosse in fatal Florence hit-and-run
FLORENCE, S.C. -- A silver 2010-2012 Buick Lacrosse has been identified as the suspect vehicle that struck and killed a Timmonsville man who was a pedestrian on West Palmetto Street in an early Sunday morning hit-and-run.
The person behind the wheel of that vehicle Sunday morning is being sought by the Patrol in connection with the death of Tyson Johnson, who was struck and killed on West Palmetto Street near Ivey Lane, according to a release from the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
“The vehicle could possibly have damage to the right front and hood area. The passenger’s side mirror should also be missing the cover,” according to the release from the Patrol.
The hit-and-run vehicle was last seen west bound on Palmetto Street, heading toward Timmonsville.
