Dodgers Exec Leaves After 31 Years
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Barry Stockhamer is resigning as vice president of marketing of the Los Angeles Dodgers to join the educational technology firm Trivision Technologies as president and chief operating officer.
Stockhamer, who began his career with the Dodgers in 1969, served in his present position since 1990.
``While all of us in the Dodger organization are sorry to see Barry leave, we realize that this is an extraordinary opportunity for him,″ Dodgers chairman Bob Daly said Monday.
``Barry is a proven innovator and his record shows a long-time history of marketing success in the industry,″ Daly said.
