Fort Bend County will close for National Day of Mourning
Fort Bend County Offices will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 5, to recognize the National Day of Mourning for the passing of President George Herbert Walker Bush.

Hebert said in a news release. “He is now gone from the scene, but I am convinced that history will be very kind to George Herbert Walker Bush. May God bless his soul.”
George H.W. Bush was the 41st president of the United States from 1989 to 1993. He was the 43rd vice president of the United States from 1981 to 1989 under President Ronald Reagan.
