Rochester man to be charged with cocaine possession

Rochester Police on Tuesday executed a search warrant at a home in the 1700 block of 20th Avenue Southeast, where they found 50 grams of powder cocaine.

Arrested at the house was Samuel Martinez-Muniz, 35, of Rochester, said John Sherwin, interim Rochester police chief. Martinez-Muniz allegedly admitted selling and using the drug. He will face charges of first-degree sales of a controlled substance, and child endangerment.

Two children younger than 10 were in the house at the time of the arrest. They were placed in the care of relatives, Sherwin said
