No. 10 Auburn seeks first win at LSU since 1999
No. 25 Auburn (5-1, 3-0 SEC) at LSU (4-2, 1-1), Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS)
Line: Auburn by 7.
Series record: LSU leads 28-22-1.
WHAT’S AT STAKE
Auburn aims to continue its climb up the rankings and keep pace with top-ranked Alabama in the SEC West race. LSU, which has been blown out by Mississippi State and lost to mid-major Troy, could regain credibility with a second straight league victory and improve confidence in the program’s direction under first-year coach Ed Orgeron.
LSU’s battered offensive line, which has relied heavily on freshmen backups, against an Auburn defensive front that has 15 sacks through six games.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Auburn: RB Kerryon Johnson has 11 TDs rushing in his past three games.
LSU: LB Devin White has at least 10 tackles in four straight games. At Florida last week, he was credited with 13 tackles, one sack, one tackle for a loss and one pass breakup.
