Warrant: Raleigh man fired rifle into the air to scare people
A Raleigh man fired a rifle into the air on Sunday in an attempt to scare people, according to an arrest warrant.
Jason David Brown, 46, of 6045 Bellow St., faces a misdemeanor charge of terrorizing the public.
According to the warrant, the incident occurred Sunday near Brown’s home, located in north Raleigh near Lynn Road and North Hills Drive. Brown armed himself with a rifle and “caused terror” by “firing it into the air,” the warrant states.
According to the warrant, Brown also shouted, “Bring it!,” while discharging the rifle.
Brown was arrested under an unsecured bond of $1,000 and has a court date scheduled for June 20.
