Friendship Baptist Church, 515 Richland Ave. W., Aiken, will hold a Health Fair on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. The Fair will include blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, and valuable information on PSA testing, detecting, prevention and managing diabetes and heart disease. Information on mental health, hospice care, and the role of caregivers will be also be presented. Aiken Regional Medical Centers, the Clyburn Center and Alliance Hospice are among the presenters. The Health Fair is free and open to the public.

New Holland Baptist Church will hold its annual fall festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Dorothy F. Garvin Recreational Park, 918 J.B. Swartz Road. The Jameson Road Band will lead an old country gospel concert at 11 a.m. The event also will include train rides for children, inflatables, crafts, antique machines, barbecue and hot dogs.
