He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church along with his wife, Addie. Delmar loved spending time with his children and grandchildren hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sharing stories of his life with family. Delmar was the man who “told it like it was” and he could dance a mean polka.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Clifford; his wife, Addie; twin infant grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; and seven brothers-in-law.

A visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, with a service held at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.

Delmar’s family sends their gratitude in these trying times to Generations Hospice, the Pastors of Zion Lutheran Church, and his daughter, Jenny Sue.
