SALEM, Ind. _ The National Weather Service says it plans to survey storm damage in southern Indiana after high winds, hail and possible tornadoes swept across the state. The weather service says a storm survey is planned Friday in northwest Washington County. SENT: 130 words.

—INDIANA-FETAL TISSUE LAW: A federal appeals court has ruled portions of a 2016 Indiana abortion law are not unconstitutionally vague and has reversed an injunction blocking them.

—WIFE’S SLAYING-SENTENCE: A northeastern Indiana man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for fatally shooting his wife while their two young daughters slept nearby.

CHICAGO _ No. 13 Purdue looks to make a run for the Big Ten Tournament championship on Friday, starting with a third-round matchup against Minnesota.
