Man fatally struck by tow truck on Northwest Side street identified
A man killed by a tow truck on the Northwest Side was identified Friday by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
David Edward Glover, 54, who San Antonio police said appears to have been homeless, was struck about 10:50 p.m. Wednesday at Fredericksburg and Huebner.
Investigators said Glover had walked into the street before the truck hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:02 p.m., according to the medical examiner.
The driver told police he saw a dark figure moments before the collision. Police said the driver did not appear to be intoxicated.
