Fugitive arrested at Maury Show

STAMFORD — A guest on the Maury Povich Show was arrested on Wednesday for an alleged robbery in Houston.

Sean Davis, 21, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The warrant was issued in November of 2017.

According to Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force informed police that Davis would be at a Wednesday taping of the Maury show, which is filmed at the Rich Forum in downtown Stamford.

Officers investigated the claim and found Davis on Bank Street, next to the theater, around 5 p.m.

Davis will be arraigned on the fugitive from justice warrant at noon in Stamford.

He is currently being held on a $60,000 court appearance bond.

According to police, Davis is a self-employed landscaper in the Stamford area.
