State police will hold recruitment information session
Connecticut State Police will hold a recruitment and hiring process informational session in Meriden the evening of March 6.
The session will take place at the Connecticut Police Academy, 285 Preston Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with troopers one-on-one or in small groups about the hiring process, physical fitness assessment, academy life, physical training at the academy and what it’s like to be a state trooper.
Although it’s mainly geared toward those 20 years or older, the session is open to people of all ages.
The Connecticut State Police is a division of the Connecticut State Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, consisting of 11 troops that provide a range of law enforcement services throughout the state.
