PLYMOUTH, Mass. (AP) — Police say two men shot overnight in Plymouth are hospitalized as investigators search for a suspect.

Police Chief Michael Botieri tells the Patriot Ledger (http://bit.ly/1GOz4WN) both men are expected to survive. Police recovered shell casings from a handgun. Botieri would not comment on the type of weapon.

The men were shot in driveway on Forest Avenue at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday and stumbled into the street.

The most seriously injured was a 26-year-old Wareham man who was shot in the back of the leg and was airlifted to a Boston hospital.

The second man, a 22-year-old Plymouth man, was taken to a local hospital with a shoulder wound.

Their names were not released.
