Henderson woman arrested in stabbing

BULLHEAD CITY — A Bullhead City woman has been arrested in Nevada after reportedly stabbing a male friend.

Kaley Ann Mansfield, 23, was arrested by Henderson (Nev.) police on a temporary felony warrant issued by the Bullhead City Police Department.

Police said Mansfield went to the victim’s home in the 1200 block of Arcadia Boulevard on Thursday, pulled a knife from her purse without warning, and started stabbing him.

The two had been romantically involved, BHCPD spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said.

The victim was able to get away and he ran to a neighbor’s house, she said, and Mansfield fled the scene in a vehicle.

The victim, 57, was treated at a hospital for stab wounds to his abdomen and shoulder areas. He has been released, Fromelt said.

Mansfield faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence.
