Muhammad Ali Selling Michigan Home
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Need an estate in Michigan? Try QVC and buy from Muhammad Ali.
Ali’s 85-acre estate will be featured this week on the cable shopping network’s late-night show ``First Friday: Extreme Shopping,″ which airs monthly and tries to attract affluent shoppers with hard-to-get items.
The former boxer’s wife, Lonnie, said the show, airing at 1 a.m. EDT on Saturday, will include a video tour of the $1.9 million estate in southwest Michigan.
``Whatever works, works _ plus the faster we get to Louisville, the better off we’ll be,″ she said.
The couple wants to move to Louisville, where Ali is from, to work on The Muhammad Ali Center, an interactive gallery and museum.
Last month, the show featured Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hollywood mansion. Negotiations for its sale are under way.
