BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead City police are investigating a reported Tuesday morning shooting in the 600 block of Holly Street.

Cory James Mason, 29, fired a weapon in the direction of two people, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said.

He reportedly went to his mother’s home, where he got into a verbal argument, pulled out a handgun and fired one round into a wall, very close to where the two victims were standing

Fromelt said Mason argued with a male family friend over an outstanding debt. It was reported that Mason’s mother and a male family friend were in the driveway when Mason arrived, she said.

No injuries were reported.

Mason then fled the scene, Fromelt said.

He is wanted for aggravated assault in connection with the incident, she said, and on other felony charges in an unrelated motorcycle theft case. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to not approach him, but to contact the Bullhead City Police Department at 928-763-1999.
