HERSHEY, Pa. (AP) _ Derek Strong scored 21 points and the Orlando Magic rode a second-quarter rally to a 95-74 NBA exhibition victory over the New Jersey Nets Thursday night.

The Nets led 30-26 after the first quarter, but were outscored 31-13 the rest of the half and trailed 57-43 at the break. Orlando took control with a 23-2 run in the quarter.

Strong scored 14 points in the first half and was 7-of-7 at the foul line. Horace Grant and Penny Hardaway each added 14 to help Orlando improve to 3-4 in exhibition action.

The Nets got back to 10 with three minutes left in the third period before the Magic regained control.

Chris Gatling's 21 led the Nets (2-4), Keith Van Horn scored 17 and Kendall Gill added 11.
