DUNEDIN, Fla. (AP) _ Pete Incaviglia homered twice as the Philadelphia Phillies routed the Toronto Blue Jays 12-2 Saturday in the first game officiated by Japanese umpires in their exchange program with the majors.

Samio Murakoshi worked behind home plate, while Toshio Azuma was at first base.

Incaviglia, who played with the Chiba Lotta Marines in Japan’s Pacific League last season, hit a solo homer in the second off loser Paul Quantrill and a two-run homer off Danny Cox in the sixth.

Phillies starter Russ Springer allowed three hits in three innings.

Felipe Crespo got Toronto’s only runs with a two-run homer in the seventh off Steve Frey.
