24th ranked Nebraska men’s basketball drops contest to 25th ranked Iowa

Jordan Bohannon scored a season-high 25 points with five assists to lead five players in double figures and 25th-ranked Iowa beat 24th ranked Nebraska 93-84 yesterday, snapping a three-game losing streak to open Big Ten play.

The Huskers, which shot 38% on three-pointers entering Sunday, was a dismal 4-23 from beyond the arc. Isaac Copeland had 24 points, six rebounds, and two steals to lead NU. James Palmer Jr. scored 20 points, but the Hawkeyes held the Big Ten’s second-leading scorer without a point for the opening 18 minutes. Isaiah Roby added 17 points and nine boards for Nebraska. The Big Red drop to 11-4 overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten while Iowa improves to 12-3 overall and 1-3 in the league.
