A book I think everyone should read: ’“The House of the Scorpion” by Nancy Farmer and “Where the Red Fern Grows” by Wilson Rawls. I liked the way the first one was told, and the second one was really sad.”
Greatest adventure I’ve ever been on: Traveling the trails by Mount Baker.
Is there one thing in your life that you’re the most proud of? “My cat. She’s the best. She’s like a little human the way she talks to you. I probably sound like such a crazy cat lady.”
If you could witness one thing in history, what would it be? Political justice.
If I could be any animal, I would be a: “A big blue whale. They’re so gracious, beautiful and peaceful.”
Something I’ve always wanted to do but have never done: “Leave the country. I’d like to go to Norway.”
Piece of advice would I would tell my 10-year-old self: “Focus on yourself and do what makes you happy.”
What would you do with $1 million? “I would save half of it — put it 10 feet under ground. With the rest, I’d be courteous, maybe travel around the world and find good organizations to donate to.”
