Huntington police are looking for a Fort Wayne man, likely armed and dangerous, who is a person of interest in an apparent shooting.

A victim showed up at a local Huntington hospital with a gunshot wound to the back around 1 p.m. Friday, and police identified Joseph Anthony Mills, 23, as a person of interest in that incident, Huntington Police Chief Chad Hacker said.

“Throughout the course of the investigation, he became a person of interest,” Hacker said. “Joseph is believed to be armed and dangerous. If located, please call your local law enforcement agency.”

Mills currently has an active felony warrant out of Huntington County for being a habitual traffic violator.
