First look photos: New Bubba Gump Shrimp on the River Walk
Shrimp cocktails. Shrimp po’boys. Shrimp gumbo. Fried shrimp.
All those dishes and more featuring America’s favorite shellfish will be available when Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market opens it’s new River Walk location. The restaurant will open for business following a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2.
The Express-News got a sneak peek at the chain’s newest address Wednesday, located in the former home of Joe’s Crab Shack at 406 Navarro St. The Bubba Gump restaurant concept was inspired by a supporting character from the movie adaptation of Winston Groom’s “Forrest Gump.”
