n Portneuf Medical Center will host the Work It Scrubs and Shoe Sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today on the first floor mezzanine. Everyone is invited to come shop for scrubs, shoes, nursing accessories, compression socks and more.
n AARP, Chapter 288, will meet today at the Senior Activity Center, 427 N. Sixth Ave. in Pocatello. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch being served at noon. Lunch is $6. n The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office would like to invite the public to a community presentation about youth substance abuse prevention and current drug trends in our community at 7 p.m. today at the Rocky Mountain Middle School Auditorium, 3443 N. Ammon Road in Idaho Falls. DARE officers will be giving an overview of what is being taught and why substance abuse prevention is important for our youth.
