Uber: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Uber Technologies Inc. (UBER) on Thursday reported a loss of $5.24 billion in its second quarter.
The San Francisco-based company said it had a loss of $4.71 per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of $3.33 per share.
The ride-hailing company posted revenue of $3.17 billion in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.41 billion.
