Nokia: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
ESPOO, Finland (AP) _ Nokia Corp. (NOK) on Thursday reported a loss of $217 million in its second quarter.
The Espoo, Finland-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs and amortization costs, came to 6 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 1 cent per share.
The technology company posted revenue of $6.4 billion in the period.
Nokia shares have dropped 11% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 12% in the last 12 months.
