South Korean Wins Malaysian Golf
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) _ Kang Soo-yun of South Korea got her first professional victory, carding an even-par 72 Saturday to take the Malaysian Women’s Open.
She wound up 2-over at 218, and collected $10,500 from a purse of $285,000.
Compatriot Kim Hui-jung had a final-round 76 and finished five shots behind. Australian Lorraine Lambert was third at 225 after carding a 72.
