Pups and their humans practice doga
HUNTINGTON — Pups and their humans practiced their best downward-facing-dog yoga poses during “Doga” Thursday evening at Ritter Park, a yoga fundraiser for the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter hosted by Studio 8.
The donation-based, all-levels yoga class was followed by a blessing for the dogs by the Rev. Lisa Graves of St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Rev. Chip Graves of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Raffle tickets for the Bucks 4 Barks benefit for the shelter were available for purchase at Doga and can be purchased at various locations for $100 each up until the drawing Nov. 4 at 21 at the Frederick. Grand prize is $5,000, second is $3,000 and third is $1,000.
Raffle tickets may be purchased at the shelter, Sip Wine and Whiskey Bar, CCCSO, Kindred Communications, Thistle Patch Vintage Garden and Antiques, Bulldog Creative Services and Studio 8 Yoga & Wellness.
