Interzonal World Chess Tournament Results, 15th Round
ZAGREB,Yugoslavia (AP) _ Switzerland’s Viktor Korchnoi, playing with black pieces, defeated Yasser Seirawan of the United States to edge ahead alone on the standings list after 15 round of the Interzonal World Chess Tournament.
Peru’s Julio Granda, who at 20 is the youngest participant and a possible qualifier for matches of candidates, played with black pieces to draw his game with Israel’s Yehuda Gruenfeld.
